Saskatchewan Probate Fees

Source:  Wills & Estates - Probating an Estate

The fees are $7 for every $1,000 of estate value (0.7%) subject to probate.

A filing fee is payable on filing an application for probate and all times of applications for administration.  The flat fee is $200, plus an addition fee of $25 for issuing a Certificate of No Infants when one is requested.

With respect to real estate, fees are only paid on the equity in the property - the market value of the property less the balance on the mortgage or the agreement for sale.

This information is current as of January 22, 2024.
