The NB and Federal tax brackets and personal amounts were increased for 2014 by an indexation factor of 1.009.
The New Brunswick 2013 budget announced that tax rates would be increased to the same as they were in 2006, effective July 1, 2013.  The 2013 rates above are the averages of the rates for the first 6 months of the year and the rates for the last 6 months of the year, and will be the rates used when 2013 income tax returns are filed.
